Gary R. Warren

Gary is a native Texan with a passion for American history, politics and the law. He was educated in the great state of Texas, graduating from Garland High School – one of the oldest high school campuses in the state. Following high school, he attended Texas Tech University receiving a B.A. in History. With his strong interest in law, he proceeded to Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating in 1991.
Initiating his law career in 1992 with Consolidated Financial Resources, Inc., Gary served as in-house corporate counsel. During his tenure, he was in charge of litigation coordination, reviewed bond indentures for tax consequences, and administered jail standards for private jail facilities. In 1994, while still maintaining his position with the Consolidated Financial Resources, Inc., Gary entered into private law practice with a focus in complex criminal and civil litigation. After eleven years in private practice, he formed Warren & Associates, L.L.P. with Chris Migliaccio. Warren & Associates expanded the practice to full service legal services focusing on the needs of families in Dallas, Rockwall, Collin and Hunt counties.
In 2008, the law firm was renamed Warren & Migliaccio L.L.P.

Christopher M. Migliaccio
Partner
Christopher (Chris) Migliaccio is a native of New Jersey and landed in Texas after graduating from law school. With his father being in the U.S. Secret Service, Chris lived in many areas of the United States including California, New Jersey, Washington, D.C. and Michigan. Following his 2001 graduation from Wheeling Jesuit University with a B.A. in Accountancy, Chris proceeded to Thomas M. Cooley Law School earning a law degree in 2005.
He interned with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, L.L.P. located in Washington, D.C. and the Dallas County District Attorney’s office. In 2006, he and Gary Warren formed Warren & Associates, L.L.P. which provides full legal services to individuals and families in Dallas, Rockwall, Hunt, and Collin Counties. In 2008, Chris became a partner with Warren & Associates and the law firm was renamed Warren & Migliaccio, L.L.P

Harry A. DeFord
Of Counsel
Harry A. DeFord II has been practicing law in Texas for nearly 45 years. DeFord graduated from Baylor University Law School and quickly established the first official legal department for a bank in the state of Texas at Oak Cliff Bank and Trust, Dallas, Texas in 1967.
DeFord has served as Senior Vice- President and General Counsel for Oak Cliff Bank and Trust, Republic Bank Oak Cliff, First Republic Bank Oak Cliff. He was official Counsel for 11 of the First Republic Banks in the Dallas Region. Deford also held positions of Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel with NCNB, Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary to the Board of NationsBank of Texas, N.A., NationsBank, N.A. and Bank Of America.
DeFord has litigated Bank legal matters in Texas, in State and Federal Courts, handled appeal of legal matters to appeal courts, and established procedures for handling Bankruptcy Matters, Judgments, Subpoenas, Garnishments, Drug Forfeiture Cases for financial institutions.
DeFord has drafted and implemented numerous contracts and agreements for financial institutions to be utilized in consumer lending, commercial lending, operations areas, regulatory issues, employment law, real estate, air craft lending, marine lending, bankruptcy, failed bank acquisitions, asset purchases and sales of assets, and workouts in lending areas. He is a trained mediator and former member of Association of Attorney Mediators (AAM). He has been selected to “Who’s Who in American Law” and has contributed to numerous legal forms to legal publications.
