Gary R. Warren is a co-founder, partner, and leading attorney at Warren & Migliaccio, L.L.P. With more than 30 years of legal experience, Gary focuses on helping North Texas families navigate divorce, child custody, and child support matters. He brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and success in guiding individuals and families through complex family law issues.

As one of the firm’s leading attorneys, Gary ensures that the firm upholds top-quality legal standards in serving families in Dallas, Collin, and Rockwall Counties. He and the family law team at Warren & Migliaccio, L.L.P. take a teamwork-driven and client-centered approach to every case. You can count on them to take the time to listen and understand your concerns and goals, offer compassionate and practical solutions, and ensure you feel supported throughout the process.

Background

Gary is a native Texan with a deep love and pride for his community. He graduated high school from Garland High School in 1983, one of the oldest campuses in the state. After high school, Gary attended Texas Tech University, where he earned a B.A. in History. With a strong interest in law, he proceeded to Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan, graduating in 1991.

After passing the bar in 1992, Gary returned home to the metroplex. He began his legal career working pro bono cases for North Texas Legal Services. He then joined Consolidated Financial Resources, Inc., where he served as in-house corporate counsel. In this role, Gary handled litigation coordination, reviewed bond indentures for tax consequences, and administered jail standards for private jail facilities.

In 1994, Gary transitioned to private practice by joining Anyanwu & Associates, focusing on complex criminal and civil litigation. Then, in 2006, he co-founded Warren & Associates, L.L.P. with attorney Christopher Migliaccio to focus on the family law needs of North Texans. In 2008, Christopher became a partner, and the law firm was renamed Warren & Migliaccio L.L.P.

Under Gary’s leadership, the firm expanded its services beyond family law to meet the diverse needs of its clients. Now, the firm offers a wide range of family law, bankruptcy, estate planning, and debt collection defense services.

Gary’s extensive background in complex litigation and his deep knowledge of family law make him uniquely qualified to navigate the challenges his clients face. With over 30 years of experience, he is passionate about serving families in North Texas, especially families in crisis facing challenging divorce and child custody matters.

He considers it his priority to address the concerns that keep his clients up at night. For families with children, he understands custody, visitation, and child support rank high and recognizes that stress and emotions can make daily tasks and job performance a challenge for spouses involved in divorce. Gary is committed to helping families navigate these difficult times and achieving the best possible results for their cases.

Outside of his passion for the law, Gary enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son, reading about American history and politics, and rooting for his hometown sports teams – the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, Mavericks, and Cowboys. He and his wife, his high school sweetheart of more than 26 years, are active in their community, teaching Sunday school together each week.
