Cardi B has once again filed for divorce from Offset, signaling the end of their tumultuous marriage. According to her representative, Cardi is aiming to secure primary custody of their children. This decision follows persistent rumors of Offset’s infidelity, though sources suggest the real issue is that the couple has simply grown apart over time.

The Divorce Filing

Cardi B officially filed for divorce from Offset on Wednesday. While her representative confirmed the filing, no additional details were provided. Sources close to the situation, however, have indicated that Cardi is adamant about obtaining primary custody of their two children, Kulture and Wave, and that this time she is resolute in her decision.

Underlying Reasons

Insiders suggest that the split is not directly linked to the latest rumors of Offset’s infidelity but rather to the couple’s growing emotional distance. Despite the public allegations and denials of cheating, the main issue appears to be the couple’s divergent paths and the resulting strain on their relationship.

Children and Custody

Cardi B, 31, and Offset, 32, share two children: a daughter, Kulture, aged 5, and a son, Wave, aged 2. The primary concern for Cardi is securing primary custody of the children. There have also been rumors of a third pregnancy, though Cardi has neither confirmed nor denied these speculations publicly.

History of Their Relationship

The couple, who married in September 2017, have experienced several separations and reconciliations throughout their marriage. In 2020, Cardi filed for divorce but later reconciled with Offset. Despite their efforts to work through their issues, including public date nights as recently as April, the relationship has faced ongoing challenges.

Public Statements and Reactions

Cardi has been open about the struggles in their marriage, sharing messages on social media about outgrowing relationships and the need to prioritize herself. Following these messages, she confirmed being single for a period. Sources indicate that Cardi wishes to move forward peacefully, without any drama or ill will towards Offset.

Future Focus

Currently, Cardi is focused on the future and moving on from the relationship. She hopes for a peaceful transition and is committed to the well-being of her children. Despite the separation, she maintains no animosity towards Offset and wishes him the best in his endeavors.

A representative for Offset has not yet commented on the divorce filing.
