Who are Faye Dunaway’s ex-husbands?

Faye Dunaway has been married twice.

Here is a look at the Hollywood star’s two ex-husbands.

Faye was first married to American musician Peter Wolf from 1974 to 1979, who served as the lead singer for The J. Geils Band and has gone on to have a career as a solo artist.

According to a June 1980 People profile on Peter, the former couple met backstage at a 1972 show in San Francisco, California, before tying the knot in Los Angeles two years later.

According to The New York Times, Faye “described an immediate attraction” between the pair in her 1995 biography, Looking for Gatsby.

“He has the face of an apostle, all bones and hollows above his dark beard. Hidden behind his dark aviator shades are velvet eyes that you can drift in forever,” she wrote, per the publication.

“His voice, though, is what locks its grip on you, as he weaves in and out of music and a smoky rap, telling tales of passion and pain.”

Per the outlet, the Bonnie and Clyde actress largely attributed their 1979 divorce to their conflicting career schedules and spending time away from each other.

“Time, life, and the world kept wearing away at our relationship,” she wrote in her autobiography, according to The New York Times.

The publication also stated that Peter said in an interview, “Well, we were in a romance, she worked hard and was very dedicated to her work. I worked hard and was very dedicated to my work.”

Terry O’Neill

Terry O’Neill and Faye Dunaway were married from 1983 to 1987[/caption]

Faye’s second marriage was to the late British photographer Terry O’Neill from 1983 to 1987.

According to Heavy, the former couple met in 1977 when he took photos of the actress for People Magazine.

The pair shared a son, Liam Dunaway O’Neill.

How many kids does Faye have?

Faye is a mother of one.

She has one child, son Liam, with her ex-husband Terry.

According to People, the former couple adopted Liam in 1980 when he was less than a week old.

He has attended multiple red-carpet events with his famous mom, such as the Cannes Film Festival in 1999 and 2024.

According to the publication, Liam also attended the 2008 and 2010 Academy Award carpets and has accompanied Faye to film premieres, including 1995’s Batman Forever and 2003’s Bad Boys II.

In an April 25, 2024, Instagram post, he shared that he was involved in his movie star mom’s documentary, FAYE, which took two years to make.

Liam has a son, Oliver Dunaway O’Neill, with his partner, McKinzie Roth.

He shared the baby news in a May 2022 Instagram post.

“Let the adventure begin !!!” Liam wrote.

“Two things I never thought possible, finding my person and making one. Extremely blessed and happy that our family is getting bigger.”

Where can I watch Faye’s documentary?

Faye’s documentary, FAYE, debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024 and will premiere on HBO and Max on July 13, 2024.

Per HBO’s description, Faye “recounts the triumphs and challenges of her illustrious career” in the program, directed by Laurent Bouzereau.

“Through honest reflection, complemented by insight from colleagues and friends, Dunaway contextualizes her life and filmography, laying bare her struggles with mental health while confronting the double standards she faced as a woman in Hollywood,” it continues.
